Anne discovered massage and manual therapy in California in the 80s. Much to her surprise, it was love at first sight, and she decided to make it her profession.

A US-certified massage therapist with a penchant for structural and deep-tissue techniques, she has been practicing and teaching for over 30 years.

Anne meets Mil\u00e8na May Bergeron<\/a>creator of Deep Flow, in Vancouver in 2009. Deep Flow gives coherence to what she has learned and enables her to deepen her knowledge. This methodology frees her, while giving her a sense of direction.

Anne has been living in France for several years, where she teaches and practices  Deep Flow<\/a> among other approaches (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Oncology). Her teaching style is sensitive, respectful and encourages curiosity.

In the right place at the right time, I discovered massage and its holistic approach in the mid-1980s while living in Los Angeles.

Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e de l’Ecole de massage de Santa Monica et de l’\u00e9cole de massage de Shiatsu de Californie, avec une large client\u00e8le priv\u00e9e, j’ai pu pratiquer imm\u00e9diatement apr\u00e8s mes enseignements et me sentir \u00e0 l’aise avec mes nouvelles comp\u00e9tences.

J’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 convi\u00e9e \u00e0 rejoindre une \u00e9quipe de th\u00e9rapeutes, s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s pour cr\u00e9er le \u00ab Burke Williams Beyond the Spa<\/a> \u00bb, (l’un des premiers spas de jour, aux \u00c9tats-Unis). Je suis rapidement devenue directrice du d\u00e9partement de massage et, \u00e0 mon d\u00e9part en 2000 je dirigeais plus de 200 massoth\u00e9rapeutes dans quatre \u00e9tablissements diff\u00e9rents.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

 Apr\u00e8s mon d\u00e9m\u00e9nagement \u00e0 New York, on m’a propos\u00e9 un poste de  directrice dans un spa prestigieux . Cette offre m’a fait r\u00e9aliser que ce que j’aimais le plus dans mon travail, c’\u00e9tait la pratique du massage  et la formation. J’ai refus\u00e9 l’offre et j’ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de poursuivre ma v\u00e9ritable vocation afin de me concentrer sur la cr\u00e9ation de mon cabinet priv\u00e9.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

j’ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 enseigner le massage su\u00e9dois \u00e0 la \u00ab Vancouver School of Massage and Bodywork (VSBM)<\/a> \u00bb en Colombie-Britannique, au Canada, o\u00f9 j’ai travaill\u00e9 avec une \u00e9quipe d’enseignants inspirants, un directeur d’\u00e9cole et un personnel administratif visionnaires, dont Myl\u00e8na May Bergeron, cr\u00e9atrice de Deep Flow<\/a> (deepfloweurope.com). This encounter gave a new and dynamic direction to my work.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Je d\u00e9m\u00e9nage, et cette fois vers mon pays d’origine en esp\u00e9rant \u00e9largir mon programme d’enseignement et d\u00e9velopper une nouvelle pratique. Je commence  \u00e0 enseigner dans plusieurs \u00e9coles dont: Paris Beauty Academy (Nanterre), The Miki School (Paris ) et L\u2019Ecole Europ\u00e9enne de Massage (Bruxelles) et aussi \u00e0 enseigner \u00e0 mon compte.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

 <\/strong>J’entame la formation  Anatomy Trains Structural Integration Certification aux USA avec Tom Myers . Malheureusement cette formation est interrompue par la crise sanitaire de 2020 et j\u2019attends le moment propice pour finir la 2eme et 3eme partie du programme. Je continue \u00e0 me former \u00e0 distance en attendant. Par la suite, je vais \u00e0 Londres suivre une formation \u00ab\u00a0Massage Oncologique\u00a0\u00bb avec Susan Findlay<\/a> to update my knowledge.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
